Homeopathy for Skin Conditions

Many children (and adults) experience atopic or eczematous conditions that manifest as uncomfortable skin states. In infants, eczema often appears on the face with oozing symptoms. Later, dry eczema can occur in joint folds, accompanied by frequent itching. General practitioners and dermatologists often employ ointments, particularly corticosteroid creams, to treat eczema. However, it should be noted that the use of these creams has the drawback of thinning the skin and making it more susceptible to issues.

Nonetheless, eczema is not a life-threatening illness. As a practitioner of homeopathy, I believe that carefully selected homeopathic remedies can stimulate the body’s innate self-healing mechanisms that are affected by atopic eczema. These eczemas have internal causes and thus require internal treatment. This approach applies to children and adults alike who have seborrheic dermatitis or contact dermatitis. By administering a monthly dose of two homeopathic globules, a noticeable improvement in symptoms can usually be observed within one to two months.

Homeopathy offers the advantage of using remedies in the form of potencies, created through dilution and succussion of a substance. These potencies activate the body’s innate self-healing power, based on the principle of information transfer.

An additional advantage is that medication does not need to be taken daily but rather every four to six weeks. The granules, pleasantly sweet in taste, are sucked in the mouth and often perceived as „candies“ by many children. The choice of remedy should correspond to the physical and mental state of the child and be suitable for improving eczema symptoms (significantly).

Homeopathic therapy can easily be combined with conventional creams or antihistamines. As the eczema improves, the application is naturally reduced. Homeopathy is characterized by its gentleness, natural approach, and child-friendly usage, while avoiding animal testing in its production.

Other atopic conditions that respond well to homeopathy include asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, respiratory infections, cow’s milk sensitivity, cow’s milk intolerance, cow’s milk allergy, food allergies, hay fever, COPD, and allergies. Psoriasis and Homeopathy

The client continues the usual medication as needed. There is the possibility of using the homeopathic remedy alongside conventional drugs and creams. If a significant improvement in symptoms occurs, the standard dosage can be reduced in consultation. Additionally, homeopathic therapy can be applied in conjunction with other healing approaches.

Self-Healing Ability

The primary goal of homeopathy is to stimulate the body’s inherent self-healing capacities. The organism has the ability to autonomously correct dysfunctions in the immune system. To achieve this, the homeopathic practitioner selects an appropriate remedy that corresponds to the specific symptoms and individual constitution of the patient. Various resources are available for consideration in this process.

A distinct advantage of homeopathy is that the administered remedies are in the form of potencies. These potencies are created by repeated dilution and vigorous shaking of a source substance. The chosen remedy stimulates self-healing powers and is characterized by a low tendency for side effects. Unlike conventional dermatologists who use external creams, the treatment of conditions like psoriasis through homeopathy operates on an internal level.

The mechanism of action in homeopathy is based on information transfer. Another benefit is that medication does not need to be taken daily but only every four to six weeks. The homeopathic granules have a pleasant taste and dissolve in the mouth.

Other autoimmune diseases that can positively respond to homeopathic treatment approaches include ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid disorders, scleroderma, Wegener’s disease, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, iritis, iridocyclitis, uveitis, and nephrotic syndrome.
